This engraving was crafted in titanium. The cycle of “life and death” is the main theme of the engraving. This is described by the hunting of the lions for Gnus. The African figures spread a breath of hunting magic in the scenes. Their anatomy resembles old African rock paintings style.

The shaft endings of the Lion and Gnus are made from mammoth ivory and the lions scenes were engraved with Scrimshaw technique.
