Richard Maier- Art and micro worlds -Richard Maier was attracted by art already in childhood.. Creativity was always part of his nature. The training at the technical school for engravers of Ferlach, in Austria, formed the solid basis for his professional work. Here he learned aspects of the metal engraving and the art of metal hand crafting. In Europe, Richard Maier is considered as a pioneer and a forefront of the traditional Scrimshaw.
